🎉 Spotlight on Aubryana Tripp for CTE Month! 🎉
Aubryana found her passion for teaching through the Careers in Education program at the LISD TECH Center, and she hasn’t looked back since! From Cadet Teaching to Co-Op, every experience helped her grow and discover her strengths. Now, she’s chasing her dream at Siena Heights University, working toward becoming a high school art teacher!

Last Friday, the Natural Resources classroom had some awesome guest speakers from Michigan Avian Experience come in! They brought a Red-tailed Hawk, a Great Horned Owl, and a Bald Eagle and spoke to the students about raptors/birds of prey species and their special adaptations. The students learned and took an assessment on identifying Michigan birds last week, so this was a great wrap-up for (what we called) Bird Week!
Today, we’re celebrating TECH Center alumni Noah Dusseau! Noah spent two years excelling in the BioChemical Technology program at the LISD TECH Center, where he built a strong foundation for his future.
A graduate of Summerfield High School, Noah continued his education at the University of Toledo, earning a degree in Pharmacology & Toxicology. Now, he’s taking his passion even further—pursuing a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Integrated Physiology at Michigan State University!
Noah is a shining example of how Career & Technical Education (CTE) can jumpstart a successful college and career path. Keep chasing your dreams, Noah!
