With the Golden Hammer award making its return to the TECH Center this week, we're throwing it back to 1982! 🕰️
Val Fukuichi and Mark Cole, both from Tecumseh, took home the prestigious Golden Hammer Awards, presented by Gary Bice.
🏆 Who will claim the honor in 2025? Stay tuned — winner will be announced soon!

"World’s Best Boss"? Nah, Ben Murray makes even Michael Scott look like an amateur.
From creating “The TECHies” (a nod to The Office’s Dundies) to greeting every student and staff member with the kind of energy Ted Lasso would high-five—you simply must smile around Ben.
One coworker said it best: “He’s the most positive person I’ve ever worked with. I even came back to work with him again after a short time away.” Now that’s what we call a five-star principal.
🎉 Happy School Principal’s Day to the guy with the best “radio voice” in the district and a heart to match. You make the TECH Center a place people want to be.

We’re so proud of our National Technical Honor Society students for stepping up to serve our community! They recently volunteered at I-92 Ministries, packing weekend food bags for food-insecure students right here in Lenawee County.
Their willingness to lend a hand and give back shows the kind of leadership and compassion we love to see. Way to go, NTHS!

Last Friday, students from the Natural Resources classroom released their Chinook Salmon into the Detroit River. As participants of the Salmon in the Classroom program offered by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), students received fertilized eggs in the fall and have been caring for the fish throughout the school year. This included feeding the fish, recording data, and conducting regularly scheduled water changes.
After releasing the salmon, students visited the DNR's Outdoor Adventure Center, where they learned about Lake Sturgeon in Michigan and explored various interactive exhibits. It was a fun-filled day and a great way to spend a beautiful, sunny Friday!
