🎉 Congratulations to the 23 LISD TECH Center students who were honored at this week’s Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Pinning Ceremony!
Held on campus April 15, the ceremony recognized the hard work, compassion, and commitment of students from across Lenawee County as they step into the healthcare field.
Earlier this year, an additional 28 students from the Nursing Prep Program were celebrated at a similar event.
We’re proud of each of these future healthcare professionals and all they’ve accomplished!

🕰️ Sunday Rewind!

👀 Do they look familiar?

Career-ready and college-bound—LISD TECH Center students always finish strong! 📜✅

LISD Tech Center Law Enforcement and Corrections class hosted the parents of Curt Orlowski. Curt was one of two persons killed by an intoxicated driver in 2014 on US23. Students heard a powerful message about loss, grief, and forgiveness. In addition, students had the opportunity to utilize pedal cars and impaired driving simulation goggles to demonstrate the effect of intoxicating substances.

We're kicking off a brand-new feature where we take a trip down memory lane and revisit moments in LISD history! 📜
For our first Sunday Rewind, we’re throwing it back to December 22, 1984, with an article from The Daily Telegram. This piece highlights the importance of business partnerships and work-based learning—something that has always been at the heart of what we do!
Featured in this blast from the past is Ed Engle from Rima Manufacturing and a group of students. 👀 Do you recognize anyone in this snapshot of history? Tag them or share your memories in the comments! 🕰️📖
Stay tuned for more historical gems in the coming weeks! #SundayRewind #LISDHistory #Throwback

They educated the students about welding safety and career opportunities. The presentation included a basic explanation of welding, a display of their welding uniforms and safety gear (such as jackets, gloves, steel-toe boots, and helmets), a hands-on display of welded objects for the students to examine, and a discussion on the various industries where welders can work.
